This re-launch of the Dark Horse Star Wars brand will also include one-shots, graphic novels, anthologies, and more. Multiple series are planned for the new program, with initial titles being part of the Star Wars: The High Republic publishing initiative published in the spring of 2022. After a six-year-long hiatus, it was announced on November 18, 2021, that Dark Horse would return to publishing Star Wars comics alongside Marvel in 2022. On January 3, 2014, Disney announced that the Star Wars comics license would move from Dark Horse back to Marvel in 2015. Not only do these clones have a great designs, with Wolffe serving as the Number Two to another darkhorse Plo Koon, Wolffe in particular was one of the few clones that removed his control chip and would later join Rex and Gregor in helping the Rebel Alliance in Rebels. Dark Horse has a division called Dark Horse Digital, which allows customers to view comics online. The Omnibus imprint was also used for other fictional universes, such as Lucasfilm's Indiana Jones and Buffy the Vampire Slayer. A four-part comic called Darth Maul: Son of Dathomir was published by Dark Horse in 2014, but was based on content scrapped from The Clone Wars TV series and therefore fit with Star Wars canon. The company also republished the Marvel Star Wars comics and produced several compilations of works, including the aforementioned Marvel works, in a collection of trade paperbacks known as Star Wars Omnibus. Dark Horse began publishing comics in 1986 and first published for Star Wars with Star Wars: Dark Empire in 1991.
